Jamie and Teneisha Crowned New Beginners Champions

ChiStepper was just informed by Majestic Gents founder and World's Largest Contest host Pete Frazier that Jamie Graham and Teneisha Austin of Alabama will be crowned Beginners champions.
Jay and Ann Williams gracefully bowed out and ChiStepper hears that they received bad advice about what category they should enter. It is our understanding that Jay originally tried to enter the 39 and Under Category but was advised by others that he still qualified for the beginners category. This is an unfortunate occurance and the fact that they didn't contest the disqualification speaks highly of their character.
I look forward to seeing this couple compete against the best steppers in future competitions because they are an extremely talented duo. ChiStepper will try to reach out to them for an interview.

Somehow Its Just Not the Same......
I wonder if James and Teneisha are happy about getting their win, acknowledgements/congratulations over a website instead of in front of a crowd of 100s of people giving them their moment of fame and glory?
Some people might say a win is a win no matter how you look at it..........somehow it just doesn't seem to be the same to me.

I applaud both couples. Jay and Ann are a very modest couple and I expected, if and when the time came, that they would relinquist the title gracefully. I gave my congrats to Jamie and Teneisha at the completion of their dance because I figure they were winners. Congratulations again you guys.

Congrats to the true winners.....When they announced Jay and Ann as first place (no offense), I thought at that moment Jamie And Tanisha should have been the original winners....God has a way of turing things around for the better....
